Safeguarding & Child Protection
The right of our registered players to health and physical and mental well-being always comes before any sporting result.
A.S.D. CALCIO AVIANO recognizes, and is committed to protecting through appropriate organizational and oversight measures, the fundamental right of every registered player to be treated with respect and dignity, and to be protected from all forms of abuse, harassment, gender-based violence and any other form of discrimination, regardless of ethnicity, personal beliefs, disability, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, language, political opinion, religion, financial status, birth, or physical, intellectual, social or athletic condition.
All registered players have the right to play sports in a suitable and dignified environment that respects their personal rights and their health.
With this in mind, and as part of planning and managing its activities to protect the health and well-being of its players, A.S.D. CALCIO AVIANO has adopted and applies the organizational, management and oversight measures described in its Safeguarding Model. This model, approved by resolution of the club’s Board, aims to protect minors and to prevent harassment, gender-based violence and any other form of discrimination covered by Italian Legislative Decree no. 198 of April 11, 2006, or based on ethnicity, religion, personal beliefs, disability, age or sexual orientation.
The Safeguarding Model and the Safeguarding Code of Conduct can only work effectively with everyone’s cooperation.
The more people are involved in managing the risk of harmful behavior, the more likely it is that potential violations will be identified and prevented — and the more effective the prevention system becomes.
Involving every part of the organization is therefore essential to reduce the risk of misconduct and to raise awareness of the policies, rules and regulations the club has adopted.
